Chris and Carla have worked in the hospitality business together for over 20 years running their own successful country pub and then an award winning restaurant in Porthleven Cornwall. A change of lifestyle and a big move to Uist in 2019 where they now offer their very own homestyle hospitality at Grianaig Guest House in South Uist on the Outer Hebrides!
Chris is a professional chef with over 30 years experience in many hotels, pubs and restaurants, however now enjoys a quieter life helping Carla look after the guests.
Carla runs her own Commercial & Photography business working around the island with clients helping assist them with running their businesses and working alongside estate agencies to capture properties for both hospitality, tourism or resident sales. Computer assistance and website building also keeps Carla busy! An addition to the team a few years ago are the free roaming hens and ducks providing fantastic eggs for breakfast time!
